Youth in Philanthropy (YiP) is Back!!
The Brokenhead River Community Foundation (BRCF) is very excited to announce the Youth in Philanthropy (YiP) Program is back!! Students in Grades 9 through 12 who live in the BRCF Catchment Area are encouraged to get involved!

What is YiP? YiP is for young people who envision a safe, strong community where everyone from any culture and background can work together. It is designed to introduce motivated young people to philanthropy and local community development. The program will give youth hands-on experience working as a team and with local charitable organizations. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience.

Youth in Philanthropy is a youth-led program designed to introduce motivated high school-aged young people to philanthropy and local community development. It aims to empower youth to make change in their community through educational opportunities in the form of site visits, events, volunteering and grantmaking.

Through YiP, youth will gain skills that will last a lifetime and learn about some amazing people and organizations doing powerful work to make our community better. YiP helps everyone in our community! If you (or someone you know) would like more information or to be a part of the BRCF YiP Program, call/text/email Debbie Majeau at 431-343-2723 or brcf@brcfoundation.ca
