Why give?

  • It feels good! Research proves that donating to community causes is a major mood-booster. The knowledge that you’re helping others is hugely empowering and, in turn, can make you feel happier and more fulfilled. It supports the old adage, it really is far better to give than to receive.
  • Giving to charity strengthens personal values. Impacting the lives of others in such a positive way is a privilege. Acting on these feelings of responsibility is a great way to reinforce those values and feel like you are helping your fellow community neighbors.
  • Giving is more impactful than ever. 100% of all donations stay within the community of Beausejour-Brokenhead.
  • Giving can demonstrate to others the importance of generosity. Others may notice and they too can have the benefit of feeling good about donating!
  • Giving builds and strengthens community. This foundation exists solely for the benefit of the community of Beausejour-Brokenhead.
