Create a Fund
Do you have a special idea or want to leave a legacy to your community? Our customizable fund options ensure you can support your cause in the way you want. Endowment funds allow you to support the community now and forever.
Individuals or groups can create their own fund with the Brokenhead River Community Foundation. A representative will meet with the donor to discuss their ideas for the fund. Once an agreement has been developed and signed, donations can be accepted and invested with the interest from the investment used to support your area of interest.
Types of Funds
- Donor Created Fund
With a minimum of $5000 as an initial donation, the donor can create a fund dedicated to a field of interest of their choosing.
- Donor Advised Fund
With a minimum of $10,000 as an initial donation, the donor can create the fund and each year The Brokenhead River Community Foundation will consult with the donor on the area of interest they would like to support.
