Smile Cookie Week runs from Sept19-25, 2022
Starting this Monday, head on down to our Beausejour Tim Horton’s to pick up a Smile Cookie! 100% of the proceeds from every cookie will be donated to the Brokenhead River Community Foundation – a non-profit organization created to provide financial support to charitable, educational, cultural, and recreational projects that benefit our great commnunity!
BRCF Hires New Communications and Marketing Coordinator
Danielle Gerylo is the new Communications and Marketing Coordinator
The Brokenhead River Community Foundation (BRCF) has hired Danielle Gerylo as their new Communications and Marketing Coordinator.
Danielle has lived in the RM of Brokenhead for 4 years. Her background is diverse, having spent the past decade in emergency services, as well as working part-time as a virtual assistant for companies both in Canada and the United States. Danielle is also a paid on-call member of the Beausejour Brokenhead Fire Department, where she works in the radio room as a dispatcher, as well as runs their social media platforms and other administrative functions.
“I am beyond excited to be here. Community Foundations are the most sustainable charitable organizations today. We in the Beausejour and Brokenhead region are incredibly lucky to have a dedicated non-profit that will continue to support our community for as long as it’s on the map.”
The BRCF has been making a positive impact in our community since 1998. It as an unwavering commitment to bring together the financial resources of caring families, individuals and organizations in Beausejour/Brokenhead and invest those resources into our community for the people who live here.
Danielle will be picking up where former marketing coordinator, Hannah Lussier, left off. Hannah first started back in January and worked tirelessly to get the Foundation in the position it is in today.
“The Foundation was very lucky to have Hannah as part of our team. The work she started with this new position was invaluable” offered Foundation President Reg Black. “We are equally as fortunate to have Danielle seamlessly take over where Hannah left off. The Foundation Board looks forward to working with Danielle”, he added.

The Brokenhead River Community Foundation brings together the financial resources of families, individuals, and organizations that care about Beausejour and Brokenhead; investing those resources back into the community to make it better for all who call it home.

The Brokenhead River Community Foundation was created right here in Beausejour/Brokenhead, for Beausejour/Brokenhead.
